A Darnified UI Extension, also known as a DarnUI, is a modification for the user interface of the game called Fallout New Vegas. This mod was created by Jesus H Christ and features changes to the vanilla game's interface, namely the Radios, Courier's terminal, and other elements of the interface. Changes to Darn consists of fixing bugs, adjusting the aiming for VATS, adding new features, and overall cleanup. The changes to Darn is designed to make the game more user friendly and is part of the mod that was released along with the New Vegas Prototype. This mod will now serve as a complete update repository for both New Vegas and the old-guard Fallout series of games.

The features of Darnified UI are primarily focused on revamping the Courier's interface so that it is more user friendly and less frustrating to use. New features include a Courier that uses an over bar and a variety of handy applications that can be utilized while playing the game. The Courier has a much easier time of navigating around the screen thanks to this mod; you no longer have to look for your weapon when the cursor is over an object. The Radios now have full sound support and even have direct sunlight control.

The changes to Darn that were made to the Courier were doing so to provide a more Courier-like experience, where all objects, areas, and dialogue options have been overhauled and refitted to be more Courier-like, making using the mod much more enjoyable.
